The design of the belt was presented in London during the announcement of the fight between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou, which will take place on 8 March 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The belt is decorated with gold and silver, and in the middle of it, in red letters, it is signed that it is the title of the absolute world heavyweight champion.

The Usyk-Fury fight will take place on 17 February 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The winner of the Usyk vs Fury fight will become the first absolute world champion in the heavyweight division in the 21st century.

The last "absolute" in heavyweight was Lennox Lewis, who gained this status in 1999 when he defeated Evander Holyfield. Back then, the WBA, WBC, and IBF titles were at stake. The WBO belt was recognised as equivalent in 2007, so the winner of the fight between Usyk and Fury will become the first ever "absolute" heavyweight champion with four major titles.
